Bacteriostatic Water
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, which inhibits bacterial growth and allows multi-dose use. It is the standard solvent used in research settings for reconstituting lyophilized peptides. Prepared using USP-grade standards and filled under aseptic conditions in sealed glass vials. Each vial is single-use sterile before opening and can support multiple draw-downs in a research environment once opened. Compatible with all lyophilized peptides in our catalog.
