Thymalin
Thymalin is a polypeptide preparation isolated from thymus tissue, containing a mixture of low-molecular-weight peptides involved in T-cell maturation. Developed in Russia in the 1970s as a thymic immunomodulator, it has been studied extensively in age-related immune-decline research, autoimmunity models, and post-infection recovery. Considered a complementary research tool to the single-peptide Thymosin Alpha-1.
